Paul Keysar artist

If you would like more information about a particular work, including pricing, or to purchase a piece, please email me or call 704.596.1286. I will gladly answer any questions you may have.

Payment Plans: Purchasing a work of art is a major investment. As such, I will accept payments in installments. We can work out a time frame and monthly amount that you are comfortable with paying. I will hold the painting for you until all payments have cleared. If you decide to cancel your purchase after agreeing, any payments submitted will be considered non-refundable.

Sales Tax: Sales tax charged for North Carolina residents and ship to addresses.

Shipping/Handling: Shipping and handling charges will vary depending on the size and weight of the painting, if it is framed, packaging costs, and destination. Work will ship insured for the retail price. I will ship using the safest, most economical means possible.

Payment Method: Payment must be made in U.S. dollars. U.S. buyers may pay by check drawn on a U.S. bank, with credit cards through Square or PayPal, or with their PayPal account. A service fee of 2.75% will be charged for credit card payments, where permitted by law. PayPal has the ability to convert currencies to U.S. dollars. International buyers must pay using PayPal.

Note to International Buyers: To avoid misunderstanding, we declare the exact purchase price of the painting (and frame if applicable) as the value of the goods when completing the customs declaration. We will neither check the "gift" box nor under declare the value. International buyers are responsible for payment of taxes and tariffs levied by their government and should inquire as to these fees in advance, so they are aware of any additional cost they may owe upon receiving the painting.

Terms of Sale
Ownership: Artist retains title to the Artwork until Artist is paid in full. If Purchaser later sells or gives away Artwork, Artist requests notification of new ownership as reasonable.

Reproduction: Artist reserves all rights of reproduction, including without limitation all copyrights and trade dress rights, in the Artwork. Purchaser/Owner of the Artwork must receive advance written permission from Artist for each instance of reproduction (except for incidental non-commercial reproductions, such as personal photographs of physical settings where the Artwork is displayed). Artist's signature and/or copyright notice as they appear on the Artwork at the time of sale shall not be removed or concealed. Artist shall receive authorship credit in connection with the Artwork or any reproductions of the Artwork.

Maintenance: In compliance with federal law, Purchaser/Owner will not intentionally damage, alter, modify, or change the Artwork in any way whatsoever. If any alteration of any kind occurs after receipt by Purchaser/Owner, whether intentional or accidental and whether done by Purchaser/Owner or others, the Artwork shall no longer be represented to be the work of the Artist without the Artist's written consent. Purchaser/Owner shall undertake reasonable efforts to ensure that the Artwork is properly maintained. Purchaser/Owner shall not destroy the Artwork or permit the Artwork to be destroyed without first offering to return ownership to Artist or his successor in interest.

Repairs: Purchaser shall seek Artist's prior written approval for all repairs and restorations to the Artwork, which are made during the lifetime of Artist. To the extent practical, Artist shall be given the opportunity to accomplish said repairs and restorations at a reasonable fee.

General: The Artwork and frame, if applicable, are sold as is. ARTIST EXPLICITLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. A waiver of or breach of any of the provisions of these Terms shall not be construed as a continuing waiver of other breaches of the same or other provisions hereof. These Terms shall be binding upon the parties hereto, their heirs, successors, assigns, and personal representatives and may be modified only by writing signed by both parties. These Terms shall be construed and enforced under the laws of the United States and the State of North Carolina, and constitute the entire understanding between the parties.

Return Policy for Non-Commissioned Work: I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days of receipt, in the painting's (and frame's, if applicable) original condition, for a full refund* of the purchase price less shipping costs. (*NOTE: This does not apply to commissioned work.) If making a return, you must call 704-596-1286 in advance to make arrangements. If painting was shipped to buyer, buyer must ship using the same form of packaging in which the painting was received. If hand delivered, please contact the artist for details on how to package for shipping, or arrange for pickup. Buyer is responsible for the cost of all materials needed for packaging. Buyer is responsible for return shipment and insurance costs, and must ship the painting insured for its full value. Please notify me of the shipment date, method, and tracking number. Refund will be given after the painting (and frame, if applicable) is received and inspected. Artist reserves the right to refuse or reduce refund for works damaged through Buyer's negligence or untimely return.
